Hi, I'm Cali Morris from Pataskala, Ohio. I'm a 18-year-old pop artist, and on the 20th season of American Idol, I had the fantastic opportunity to compete and win a golden ticket. Among the three judges who gave me the nod were Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. Sadly, despite being vaccinated, my trip had to be canceled because of a positive pre-travel COVID test. 

 

I've never been one to wallow in disappointment, though. Since the age of three, singing has been my love, and I've been working hard to improve since 2015 when I began my vocal training with Natalia Chase. My family has taught me to never give up on my aspirations, and I am very grateful for their unwavering support. They have helped me release several popular singing videos on TikTok, release my first cover song on all major streaming services, and debut my first original song with Los Angeles area producer and composer, Colin Boyd. It is expected to release on August 12, 2022. 

 

I continue to perform all throughout the Columbus, Ohio, region in addition to working on original songs. By sharing my love of story-telling through music, I hope to continue inspiring people from all walks of life to never give up no matter their setback.
